Hybrid Coaching - What Is It, & Is It For You?

Simply put, hybrid coaching is the combination of traditional 1-on-1 (in-person) personal training (typically one session with me per week) and online coaching. This means I will program the rest of your weekly (solo) sessions, adjust them based on your preferences and feedback, provide form checks via video, and check in regularly regarding your progress and nutrition.

What you get:

  • Convenience/flexibility to train at whatever time and location is most convenient to you on your solo day(s)

  • Affordability - hybrid coaching is generally cheaper than fully in-person

  • Help with accountability for your solo sessions via video checks and optional daily habit checklists, reminders etc.

  • Efficiency - sessions can be organised so that you perform the exercises you need more hands-on guidance for with me (e.g. free weight compound movements), and those that require less instruction in your solo sessions (e.g. machine-based movements).

Who this is for:

  • Trainees who are a few blocks of training past the beginner stage

  • New clients who already have some gym experience

  • Clients for whom traveling to my gym several times a week is difficult

Who this is not for:

  • Clients who are completely new to the gym, as hands-on techique instruction is paramount in those early stages

  • Clients who prefer to meet in person for accountability reasons
